From Cairo with Love... takes every step to ensure that your payment information is transmitted and stored securely. That is why we use a third party billing company - their sole purpose is to make sure that you credit card transaction is secure, private, and confidential. Our third party billing company, CCNow, use the industry standard Verisign security certificates, for your complete protection.

Many analysts have written articles which agree that online shopping in most cases can be just as safe, if not safer than in store credit card shopping. Citing  that handing your card over to an employee with no security clearance can be much more dangerous.

What we recommend is, for the most complete protection, always use the most updated browser available. 

From Cairo with Love... understands that when you make an online purchase or email us, that there is a certain level of trust. We too have been victims of spam mail, and agree that it varies from annoying to infuriating.

Shipping info

1.  How much is shipping from Egypt?

We have 2 shipping rates  ....

  • Flat shipping rate from Egypt to the US - $11.99.  So if you order one item it is $11.99, if you order 100 items it is still $11.99.  Once your order ships it is usually 5 to 7 business days for delivery.

  • Jewelry Express to the US -  flat shipping rate of $19.50, 3 business day delivery once your order is shipped...only orders which are 100% jewelry are eligible for this, no papyrus, oils or glass products.  It is a  flat rate of $19.50 per order, if it is one jewelry piece it's $19.50 shipping, if it is 100 jewelry pieces it is still only  $19.50.

2. Ok, I ordered now what?

If you are ordering by credit card: once we receive the order from our online processor (sometimes this can take 24 to 48 hours) your order is usually shipped insured within 24-48 hours.  When your order is shipped we will give you a tracking number and web page.

3.  Other delivery facts...

There is no delivery on Saturdays, Sundays and holidays in the USA or Europe.  We do not ship on Fridays as businesses are closed in Egypt.  Due to the  heightened security measures have been taken throughout the world, there will be times due to these procedures that you will not receive your merchandise within the allocated time.  This is beyond our control and our shipper's control - we ask for your patience.

4.  I have a PO BOX or a military address...

We cannot deliver to a PO Box, or a military address. 

5.  This is a surprise gift and I want it delivered to an address other than my credit card billing address, can I do that?

Our credit card processing company uses and address verification system - this means we will only ship to the same address that the credit card bill is received.  This protects all of us from fraud.  If you absolutely must have the order shipped to another address then there are 3 choices.

1.  Western Union in the funds  or

2.  SWIFT in the funds or

3.  Send us a check - allow up to 30 days for the check to clear.  (We know that is too long, but...)

Refunds and Returns

  • Please contact us directly at info@fromcairo.com

  • There are no refunds on personalized items, platinum plated or custom  orders.

  • Shipping charges are non refundable.

  • Include the original receipt.
  • Returns must be received within 15 days of the date of delivery.
  • We strongly recommend using a Delivery Confirmation to insure that your shipment has reached us.  All return shipping charges must be prepaid.

  • With the rising price of gold, if you are returning a gold piece it absolutely, must have a signature receipt, showing proof of delivery and insurance.  This protects everybody from a few unscrupulous individuals  All return shipping charges must be prepaid. We cannot accept C.O.D. deliveries.  This return policy is comparable to industry standards such as  Zale's,  and Kay Jewelers.
